In celebration of International Women’s Week, we’re highlighting the work of our entrepreneurial colleagues, both in Puerto Rico and around the world. Meet our colleague Madeline R.

Joining a new company, or adjusting to changes in current employment, can be an intimidating and challenging experience, so that the vast majority of companies have human resources personnel to guide all employees in this process. The Monsanto team in Puerto Rico has our colleague Madeline, Human Resources assistant at the Juana Díaz site, who has more than 15 years of experience in this field.

“I love working with people, helping them in whatever they need, and always providing excellent service. During these years of experience, I have had the opportunity to acquire new knowledge in the field of Human Resources.”

In addition to her background in Human Resources and Marketing, Madeline has experience in the areas of recruitment, staff integration or ‘onboarding’, payroll, benefits, labor relations, and customer service.

What’s it like working at Monsanto?

“Working at Monsanto has given me the opportunity to get to know the agriculture industry and be able to develop in different areas.”

Why do you think more girls and young women should follow a career in your field?

“I urge those women who have not yet decided on a specific career, to consider the area of Human Resources, as it is an interesting career with a lot of learning opportunities.”

Madeline describes herself as “responsible and dedicated”, qualities with which we strongly agree. Congratulations, Madeline, on #InternationalWomensWeek.
