This past month of June marked the launch of the first Monsanto Puerto Rico institutional advertising campaign. It focuses on highlighting the company’s contributions to meet the food needs of a growing world population, and its contribution to the Puerto Rican economy and improving the quality of community life.
The campaign consists mainly of ads placed in local newspapers, radio and digital media. In addition, Monsanto will be making some strategic sponsorship investments on several segments of educational television programming. This effort complements the company’s community outreach and engagement programs through news media interviews, lectures at schools and universities, participation in conventions of professional organizations, community meetings, and visits to our facilities.
